Atmosphere-
We don’t have designer coffee and flashing lights, but we do have heartfelt worship that really connects you with God. EM Bounds said, “Man is looking for better methods, but God is looking for better men.” Our desire is not to just create a “worship experience”, but actually lead you into worship, providing a genuine relationship with God and those around you. We are not here to entertain, but to lead you into a genuine walk with God without pretense.

People-
We are not cookie cutters!!! God created us to be unique individuals. At OWC, you will find black, white, businessman, blue collar, single moms, married’s, youth and adults all mixing in together, celebrating our uniqueness and having a great time! In the garden, Adam and Eve were naked and not ashamed. Church is not a place for a mask, but celebrating and being comfortable with the awesome person God created you to be!!!

Service Order-
Worship starts at 10:30am. Dress is dressy casual (high heels don’t work well setting up and breaking down the school). During the service, we have praise and worship, testimonies of what God is doing in people’s lives, a financial mini-message, our main teaching message and then prayer for anyone who wants it at the end of service. Following service, we have some refreshments so you can mix and mingle with everyone.

Children and Youth-
The word of God tells us in Ephesians 6:1,2- That children are blessed when they learn how to honor their parents (paraphrased). This day and age, kids are fighting for time with their parents and many youth/ children’s activities are separate from the parents. We believe that the children’s blessing is locked up within a healthy family relationship with their parents. Therefore, we have the kids and youth in service during praise and worship so they can worship with their parents and then we dismiss them for their teaching during the adult message. During the week we provide activities to strengthen the child/ parent bond. Nursery is provided for the entire service and you can check in little ones, 4 and under before service.   Children »    Youth »

Life Groups-
We believe that life happens in the home and outside the four walls of the church. More people need to learn how to live life outside of the church, not just follow a religious routine in the church. Church is not a building. If you equip people to have healthy thriving families, you will have a healthy church. Life group is practical application and equipping for life.
